The HDW-F900 offers high definition image-capture equivalent to the picture quality associated with 24-frame 35 mm film. Widescreen Digital Betacam rivals the image quality of Super 16 mm film reproduction (especially when the latter is “blown-up” to 35 mm for theatrical release). 24P HDCAM imaging elevates this image quality to the ranking of a 35 mm film release print derived from a 35 mm original capture.
